Cash vs Financing

Paying cash

Buying a system outright typically delivers the fastest payback and the highest lifetime savings, since there's no interest cost. It requires more capital up front but results in full, unencumbered ownership from day one.

Financing

Solar loans let you install a system with little or no money down, often structured so monthly payments are comparable to (or less than) your previous utility bill. Over the loan term you're building equity in an asset rather than paying a utility for power you'll never own.

Rates, terms, and qualification depend on your lender and credit profile — we can walk through options during your consultation without any pressure to choose one over another.

How we help you decide

There's no universally 'right' answer — it depends on your cash position, financial goals, and how long you plan to stay in your home. Our job is to lay out the real numbers for both paths honestly so you can choose with confidence.
